11th July - The Allison Neale/Dave Cliff Quartet
Herts Jazz Committee member Allison Neale hosts this evening with her own quartet, featuring legendary guitarist Dave Cliff. Allison made her name in the Midland Youth Jazz Orchestra before becoming a respected bandleader in her own right. Dave Cliff needs practically no introduction to aficionados. He has performed alongside some of the biggest names in jazz and is regarded as one of our most respected musicians.

18th July - The Steve Waterman Quartet
Steve is one of the top British jazz trumpet players both at home and on the international scene. He began his career while studying at Trinity College Of Music, and since then has worked regularly on the British and European jazz scene. Steve has recorded 6 critically acclaimed CDs under his own name.

Stan's reopening of Herts Jazz proved so popular that we've decided to book his quartet every season featuring a different guest. This time he features Simon Allen, who has recently recorded with Stan's Quartet "Senior Moment" & Stan's Octet "The Later Works".
